Introduction to Methods of Translation

This course is designed for learners of German interested in language and culture who want to improve their general language skills and get a first insight into translation strategies and their application.

In this course, you will learn to apply your language skills to the field of translation and become familiar with important tools and techniques for producing translations. In the mornings, you will take a general German course, while three afternoons a week you will attend the specialised language course in translation.

Duration
  • General German course: 20 lessons per week (a total of 80 lessons of 45 minutes each)
  • Translation course: 9 lessons per week (a total of 36 lessons of 45 minutes each)
