The summer courses in German as a foreign language offer a four-week intensive programme to give you a lively introduction into the German language and culture and to help you get fit for your studies at a German university.

Learn German in the summer

AimIn-depth insight into the German language and culture in a varied four-week intensive programme

  • July course: 02 – 29 July 2025 (Registration Deadline: 18 June 2024)
  • August course: 04 August – 29 August 2025 (Registration Deadline: 21 July 2025)

Both courses can be combined

Content

In the morning (Monday to Friday 9:45 a.m to 1:00 p.m.):

  • Language course “German as a foreign language” at 4 course levels
    July: A1 to C1
    August: A2 to C1
  • 20–24 lessons per week

In the afternoon:

  • 2 excursions per week with cultural events (guided city tour, museum visits, picnics)
