Online German course for legal professionals

This course is aimed at legal professionals and law students who want to improve their general German language skills, expand their legal terminology and practice communicating in legal contexts.

It will prepare you to apply your legal expertise when working in Germany or with German-speaking clients, negotiating partners, lawyers, judges and authorities.

You will also learn to navigate adequately in the relevant professional contexts.

Course dates
  • 6 to 31 July 2026
Duration
  • Technical terminology: 9 lessons per week (a total of 36 lessons of 45 minutes each)
  • General German course: 20 lessons per week (a total of 80 lessons of 45 minutes each)
Content
  • General German course in the morning
  • Legal language course on three afternoons per week
    (Tuesday / Wedesday / Thursday from 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. CET)
  • Linguistic aspects of legal case studies
  • Legal terminology
  • Insights into the German legal system
  • Intercultural communication
  • Communication with clients and in court
