The German as a foreign language department has expanded its range of courses to include online intensive courses – this way, you can learn German from the comfort of your own home.

In addition, the preparatory course for the “C1 Medizin Fachsprachenprüfung” medical language exam is now also available as an online format in the programme.

Intensive course

Online course A2.1

Course ContentIntensive development/improvement of German language skills in an online format at level A1 for university, work and everyday life

Duration
  • 5-6 lessons per week
  • A total of 38 lessons of 45 minutes each
Content
  • Interactive live sessions online with guided self-study exercises
  • Collaborative work forms to improve writing and speaking skills
  • Live video conferences via Zoom and WebEx
  • Use of the elSDI learning platform (Moodle)
Online units20 lessons in November  (two evenings per week with 5-6 hours per week, 4 weeks in total) 
18 lessons in December (two evenings per week with 6 hours per week, 3 weeks in total)

  • A2.1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language

Course feeRegular price: €300.00 (for 7 weeks)
For international prospective students: €100.00* (for 4 weeks)

*Course funded as part of the DAAD FIT programme. International prospective students who are applying to study in Germany are eligible for funding. Free of charge for applicants to the International University SDI München and the HSD Hochschule Döpfer.
