The MBA in International Business Management at the International University SDI München is a three-semester, full-time programme taught entirely in English at our campus in Munich. The MBA in International Business Management represents a practice-oriented and globally focused management education designed to meet the demands of today’s interconnected economy. Our goal is to develop professionals and future leaders who not only possess strong business expertise but also the intercultural competence essential for success in international markets.

Programme

The MBA programme is structured over three semesters (90 ECTS) and consists of 10 modules, including one specialization module and a final master’s thesis. Students may choose between two specialization tracks: Strategic Management or Intercultural Leadership. Since the degree programme is taught in English, knowledge at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required.

ADMISSION & APPLICATION

Admission to the MBA in International Business Management is not subject to a numerus clausus (NC). This means that no specific final grade is required for admission.

To apply, you simply need proof that you have already completed a Bachelor's degree or will complete one shortly. The subject area of your previous degree is not relevant, as the programme is open to graduates from all academic disciplines.

In addition, applicants must have at least one year of relevant professional experience. Please submit confirmation from your employer stating your job responsibilities, duration of employment and working hours.

For admission, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If you obtained your higher education entrance qualification in Germany, the required language proficiency is generally considered to be automatically fulfilled.

Admission requirements and the application process differ depending on whether you are applying from Germany or another EU country, or as an international applicant from a non-EU country.

Frequently asked questions

To apply, you only need proof or a certificate that you have already completed or will soon complete a Bachelor's degree programme. The specialisation does not matter.

In addition, you need proof of at least one year of relevant professional experience for admission to the degree programme. Please submit a confirmation from your employer (job description with details of the duration of employment and working hours).

The following language skills are also required for the programme:

If you have obtained your higher education entrance qualification in Germany, the required language skills are generally automatically proven with your degree.
