How are data analysed and transformed into business decisions in a global company? Students from the Master's programme in Digital Media Manager explored this question during a guest lecture by alumna Kristina.
Kristina completed her Master's degree in Intercultural Communication at the International University SDI München. Her master's thesis focused on business models, laying the foundation for a career spanning several areas of business and analytics.
After working in a start-up environment and in Human Resources, she is now employed at Amazon in Payroll and Financial Analysis. As part of the Business Intelligence course, she shared valuable insights into her professional experience and demonstrated how the business intelligence tool Amazon QuickSight is used in practice.
The session provided students with a deeper understanding of data analysis and visualisation as well as the role of data-driven decision-making in an international business environment. It also offered an excellent opportunity for professional exchange and networking with a successful SDI alumna.
We are proud of the professional achievements of our alumni and grateful when they return to share their knowledge and experience with current students. We would like to thank Kristina for her visit and for providing such valuable practical insights into the field of Business Intelligence.
