How are innovative business ideas developed – and how can artificial intelligence help transform them into actionable concepts? Students from the Bachelor's programme in International Communication and Business explored these questions during the first Innovation Hackathon at the International University SDI München.

Led by Prof. Maximilian von Geyr, the Audimax became a hub of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking for three days. Students developed their own ideas, evaluated their potential and explored the effective use of AI tools in innovation and communication processes. The focus was on turning ideas into practical solutions and creating viable concepts for future development. Within just three days, the participants produced comprehensive Innovation Playbooks, communication materials, initial online presences and clear roadmaps for the next stages of their projects.

The hackathon demonstrated how quickly innovative ideas can be transformed into well-structured and actionable concepts. Several of the projects developed during the event have the potential to evolve into future products or business ventures.

The Innovation Hackathon provided students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and gain valuable experience at the intersection of innovation, communication, entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence.
