Academic Graduation Ceremony 2025 at the International University SDI München

The academic graduation ceremony of the International University SDI München took place on 25 July 2025. Graduates, their families, and members of the university community gathered in a festive setting to celebrate this important milestone. The event was hosted by University President Prof. Dr Claudia Brunner.

A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of two special awards. The prestigious DAAD Prize was awarded to Joyce Glück O’Driscoll in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements and exceptional intercultural engagement. In addition, the Premio Klett Sprachen – MA ELE Award was presented to María del Rocío Listán Rosa, Ada Nathalie Sánchez Rodríguez and Lorena Sánchez Troussel, honouring students for their outstanding linguistic and cultural competence.

The ceremony was accompanied by musical performances from Prof. Dr Andrew Williams and lecturer David Drevs, who delighted the audience with their piano four-hand performances.

Following the official proceedings, a standing reception provided an opportunity for conversation and celebration with proud family members and friends. The SDI Summer Party, held immediately afterwards, added to the festive atmosphere.
