At SDI, one learns how to be ready for the real work life by having a lot of practical approaches. My favourite subject was Intercultural Coaching because it represented what I wanted to do in my career. After graduation, I became a project manager and intercultural communication trainer. Studying with multinational groups and having the chance to study in a practical way were the keys to my excellent public speaking today.

- Why did you choose to study at International University SDI München?
The SDI offers the best options for people who would like to work and study. - What was your overall SDI experience like and what did you learn?
Great experience! At SDI, one learns how to be ready for the real work life by having a lot of practical approaches. Smooth administration that works out everything. - What was your favourite subject and why?
Intercultural Coaching was my favourite subject because it does represent what I exactly wanted to do in my career. - Were you involved in any extracurricular activities (student council [Fachschaft], organizations, sports, etc.)? If so, which ones?
Yes, I was one of the student councils for the Hochschule, and I was part of the theatre club, where we presented a short play at one of the summer parties at the SDI.
- How has your career evolved since graduation?
As I was still studying at the SDI, I managed to get a job at a software engineering company where I had the chance to assist in project management tasks, and then I did my master's thesis there as well. It was about intercultural communication competencies and how they improve team communication. After graduation, I officially became a project manager and an intercultural communication trainer. - What skills or knowledge from your education have been most valuable in your career?
Public speaking, intercultural communication knowledge, and project management were the main elements that helped me shine in my job. - Have you encountered any challenges or obstacles in your career? If so, how did you overcome them?
Challenges are essential for growth, and I have definitely faced many of them. I had to keep an open and reflective mind in order to use the challenge as an opportunity to grow and learn new skills and coping strategies.
- What piece of advice would you give to current students or recent graduates looking to start their careers?
Choose the right thesis that would open for you the doors you want to go through.
- How has your experience at International University SDI München shaped who you are today?

I am keen to open up my own business and offer intercultural communication training/workshops to multinational companies. - How do you stay connected with the SDI München community or fellow alumni?
I am part of the alumni program, and that gives me the chance to be part of the SDI communication.
- What do you enjoy doing outside of work (hobbies, volunteer work, personal interests)?
I volunteer as a private tutor for kids with immigration backgrounds and in a nursing home, where I get the chance to help people. I love reading, cooking, and working out. - Are there any causes or organisations you're passionate about that you would like to share?
I am passionate about reading self-development books.
