Social commitment is a valuable contribution of individuals to society, but also of non-profit institutions like the International University SDI München. The motto of our University – from hands-on experience for hands-on application – is based on the fact that we want to involve students in the University. This enables them to acquire important social skills for their later professional life in an action-oriented way. The SCP programme offers students an excellent opportunity for this.

The Social Credit Points are not a compulsory part of the degree programme, but serve as proof of additional social commitment for the students.

All students at the University can apply for an SCP activity of their choice to the Programme Directors with a short letter of motivation. The Directorate decides which and how many students can work on SCP projects based on the submission of the Programme Directors.

The social activities are decided by the Senate and the Student Representative and handed over to the Vice President for publication on the SDI's own learning platform elSDI. Contact persons or supervisors who monitor the individual activities are assigned to each individual activity.
