There are a number of different ways to finance your degree programme or training in Germany. Financial support from your parents can be of great help, but it isn’t always possible. Then you need to take the initiative.

There is a wide range of jobs for students in Munich. Many take advantage of these diverse opportunities to gain work experience during their studies. And last but not least, students may be eligible to apply for BAföG (financial support under the Federal Training Assistance Act for students who attend secondary schools and universities; unfortunately only for German citizens), other types of financing or a scholarship.
