The easiest way to get to the SDI München by public transport is to get off at the Obersendling U-Bahn (underground) station or the Siemenswerke S-Bahn (commuter train) station. There are also several bus stops not far from the SDI.

From the Obersendling U-Bahn station (U3)

1. At Obersendling, leave the station in the direction of travel.
2. Keep to the right in the direction of Baierbrunner Straße.
3. Turn left into Baierbrunner Straße.
4. After 200 metres you will reach the SDI München.

From the Siemenswerke S-Bahn station (S7, S20, S27, BOB)

1. At Siemenswerke, leave the station in the opposite direction of travel.
2. After descending the stairs, keep left at Rupert-Mayer-Straße.
3. After 200 metres you will reach Baierbrunner Straße. Keep right.
4. After 200 metres you will reach the SDI München.

Take the S1 or S8 commuter train line in the direction of Marienplatz (departing every 10 minutes).
Change at Marienplatz and get on the U3 underground line in the direction of Fürstenried West.
Get off at Obersendling.

From the Hauptbahnhof Central Station – approx. 16 minutes
Take the U1 underground line in the direction of Mangfallplatz or the U2 in the direction of Messestadt Ost.
Change at Sendlinger Tor and get on the U3 in the direction of Fürstenried West.
Get off at Obersendling.

From the Hauptbahnhof Central Station – approx. 11 minutes
Take the S7, S20 or S27 commuter train line in the direction of Wolfratshausen.
Get off at Siemenswerke.

From the Hauptbahnhof Central Station – approx. 10 minutes
Take the BOB train in the direction of Tegernsee.
Get off at Siemenswerke.

From Marienplatz – approx. 10 minutes
Take the U3 underground line in the direction of Fürstenried West.
Get off at Obersendling.
