Train2Validate – Next project event on 7 April

We are happy to announce the third event of the Erasmus+ project Train2Validate on training for validators and facilitators of Easy-to-Read language.

The face-to-face seminar will take place in Pisa (Italy) on Thursday, 7 April 2022, on the premises of the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators SSML, in via Santa Maria, 155. It will last from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

During the first part of the event, the project manager, Óscar García Muñoz from Plena Inclusión Madrid, Dr. Rocío Bernabé Caro from SDI München, and Francesca Stella, a professional validator from Anffas in Italy will hold a workshop on how to write in Easy-to-Read. In the second half of the event, the partners of the project will present the vocational and academic curricula for validators and facilitators of Easy-to-Read texts, two growing professions that contribute to ensure the cognitive accessibility of people with reading and learning difficulties. This is a significant step towards the upcoming creation of open-source training materials and a certification. Moreover, the partners will announce the publication of a book with the results from the survey conducted during the first Intellectual Output about the current situation of the training programmes for validators and facilitators.

The event is free, but registration is needed. You can register here.
The full program of the event is available here.

The International University SDI München is one of the partners in this Erasmus+ KA203 project.
