We are glad to announce the first event of the Erasmus+ project Train2Validate on training for validators and facilitators of easy-to-read language.
At the event, Train2Validate partners will present the results of an online survey on training practices across Europe for facilitators and validators of easy-to-read texts. The programme also includes interesting speeches from international experts on the field.
The online survey conducted in this first stage of project aimed at gathering data about current training practice and experience of validators and facilitators. The goal was to identify whether specific training exists, what skills should such professionals have and acquire, and how validators and facilitators work. The conclusions drawn from the 350 answers collected will enable us to a better understanding of the current situation in Europe. The input will also help us to create training materials and design a certification scheme for validators and facilitators. We will publish a report with the result obtained from the survey.
The event is free and will take place via Zoom on 26 May. Automatic translation will be available.
