Extremely convenient, fully furnished and no rental commission: the SDI rents out apartments in the Campus SDI and CAMPUS VIVA residence halls.

Applications can be submitted at any time. If you fulfil admission requirements you will receive a written admission (Zulassung) to the chosen degree programme. With this admission you can apply for enrolment (Immatrikulation).

As places are limited, we recommend applying early. Please note that the application procedure for the MA Interpreting is more time-consuming due to the aptitude test, so the closing dates differ.

Application

You must include the following documents with your application:

  • Application Form:
    Application Form (German; PDF)
  • Proof of previous qualifications
    (Higher Education Entrance Qualification and any degrees obtained) (certified copies with translations, if necessary)
  • Proof of necessary language skills and, if applicable, proof of German language proficiency (certified copies)
  • Evidence of insurance from your health insurer (Versicherungsbescheinigung)
  • A copy of your passport or identity card
  • Proof you have been removed from the register of any previously attended universities (Exmatrikulationsbescheinigung), if applicable
  • a CV, passport photo and a short letter of motivation (one page at the most)

Guest Students

In principle, it is possible to enrol as a guest student in individual courses of each degree programme.
